Who is going where and doing what in the gaming industry

ALLIANCE/BALLY GAMING & SYSTEMS
  
  Brian Block has been appointed eastern region sales manager for the Las Vegas-based Bally Gaming. Block will be responsible for sales efforts in the New England and Mid-Atlantic States, Michigan, Wisconsin and the provinces of Ontario and Nova Scotia, Canada. He will also serve as the Bally Gaming sales executive for several existing Bally strategic customer account locations in those areas.  Prior to joining Bally, Block was director of marketing for the Boomtown Hotel & Casino in Bossier City, La. 
 
  Steven Des Champs has been named chief financial officer for Alliance Gaming. He assumes the duties from Robert Saxton. Des Champs has been the company's chief accounting officer since 2001. Saxton, who has been with the company since 1982 and CFO since 2000, will remain the company's treasurer, president of casino operations and will become executive vice president of Bally Gaming.
 
  Robert Jackson has been named western region sales manager. He joins Bally with experience as managing partner of C3i Global, a Las Vegas-based technology company. Jackson also held the positions of vice president and general manager of GDC Casino Tokens and director of sales for Las Vegas slot manufacturer Sigma Game. Jackson will be based out of the Bally's Las Vegas corporate office and will be responsible for ongoing sales efforts in Arizona, Southern California, Southern Nevada, New Mexico and Minnesota.
 
  Mark Lipparelli has been named executive vice president of operations. He will be responsible for strategic planning, product compliance, intellectual property, manufacturing and administration. He has been with the company since 2002, serving as executive vice president of Bally Systems.
 
  Jeff Livingston has been appointed vice president of central region sales. He will be based in Louisiana and will be responsible for the company's systems sales efforts in Mississippi, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa. Prior to joining Bally, Livingston was executive vice president and general manager of the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, La. He has also held managerial positions with the Landmark Hotel & Casino, Grand Casinos and Harrah's Entertainment.
 
  Mick Roemer  will assume the position of senior vice president of products and marketing. He will be responsible for marketing, product planning and product management.
 
  Ramesh Srinivasan has joined the company as executive vice president of Bally Systems. Srinivasan is formerly a business unit executive vice president for Manhattan Associates.
  
  ATRONIC GAMES
  
 Simona Dutto has been appointed as a new regional sales manager responsible for key jurisdictions on Europe. Dutto joined Atronic's international sales team in February, taking over the role from Sanjay Lutchmiah who due to private reasons has decided to leave the company. Based in Turin, Italy, Simona will use the Atronic UK office as her operation base and will regularly attend meetings with her sales and marketing colleagues.
 
  Javier Sevillano has been named the company's new sales agent responsible for Spain and Portugal. Having spent over 20 years in the international casino industry working for companies such as Cirsa and WMS, Spanish speaking Sevillano will be responsible for securing Atronic machine and systems sales in the Spanish market and for driving the approval process of Atronic machines in the main Spanish jurisdictions. Additionally he will support the sales efforts of Simon Dorsen in the Portuguese market.

 Neil A. Ciarfalia has been appointed chief financial officer. He will continue in his responsibilities as vice president and treasurer. He succeeds Robert M. Haddock, who was appointed chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer.
  
  GAMING STANDARDS ASSOCIATION
  
  Lyle Bell has been named chairman of the Las Vegas-based organization's board of directors. He replaces outgoing chairman Gregg Solomon, who remains on the board, but chose to step down in anticipation of the merger between MGM and Mandalay Resort Group. Other elected officers include Mark Lipparelli of Bally Gaming & Systems as vice chairman; John Boushy of Harrah's Entertainment as secretary; and Fred Lychock of R. Franco as treasurer. The new board leadership was elected to a one-year term, which officially began February 28. Additionally, three individuals were elected to the board: Joe Bailo of Atronic Americas, LLC; Moti Vyas of Viejas Enterprises; and Jeanne-Marie Wilkins of Argosy Gaming. The board also appointed new Platinum member company representatives to the Board: Ron Harris of Rocket Gaming and Russ McMeekin of Progressive Gaming.
  
  PINNACLE ENTERTAINMENT
  
  Jack Godfrey has been named executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of the Las Vegas-based company. He previously served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the company's legal affairs.
 
  Wade Hundley has been promoted to the newly-created position of president of the company, expanding his oversight of all development, construction and operations activities. He previously served as the company's president and chief operating officer.
 
  Kimberly Townsend has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing. She will continue to oversee the coordination of all marketing functions for Pinnacle properties. She has 25 years of experience in gaming industry marketing, including stints with several Trump and MGM Mirage properties.
 
  Alain Uboldi has been named the company's new chief operating officer. He previously served as the company's regional vice president and general manager of the L'Auberge du Lac Hotel & Casino, under construction in Lake Charles. He will stay at that property until it opens, seeing it through its final stages.
