-Panasonic Security SystemsThe new WV-CS854B Color Dome Camera by Panasonic Security Systems delivers a horizontal resolution of 510 lines of resolution in the color mode and 570 lines in black and white. The camera includes Panasonic's exclusive Super Dynamic II technology, day/night operation and advanced features to provide optimal performance under virtually any lighting condition.
The WV-CS854B incorporates a 1/4-inch color CCD camera, 22X zoom lens and rotating chassis packed in a sleek 4.3-inch diameter housing. Its Super Dynamic II capabilities deliver a dynamic range 64 times greater than conventional cameras, allowing for optimal viewing and recording even under highly contrasted lighting conditions.
The WV-CS854B unit features full 360-degree horizontal rotation, 190-degree vertical pan and 300-degree-per-second speed.
The unit also features Privacy Zone Masking and Patrol Learn features, digital motion detection and "image hold" functions to minimize distortion during fast motion transitions. In addition, a "return to mode" function allows operators to program a specific time interval after manual operation has stopped for the dome to return to programmed mode. This assures the camera will not remain in a fixed position if the operator is suddenly called away.
Other features include increased sensitivity and masking effects to allow the camera to operate even if its pixels are damaged. CJ
