The monitor's sleek design is accomplished with the "unified strut" display support mechanism, delivering touch stability while aesthetically enhancing the product. It can be used in a variety of applications including retail, kiosks and on the
casino floor.
A patent-pending display adjustment and locking mechanism located in the monitor base is simple to use and ensures a fixed, rigid display angle that is maintained during use. The display angle is adjustable from 5 degrees beyond the vertical to a full 90 degrees off vertical. This allows the display to be mounted on horizontal surfaces such as walls.
The M170 monitor also employs a unique peripheral attachment systems that allows the seamless attachment of a host of peripherals, including magnetic stripe card and fingerprint readers. The monitor can also be field
configured for maximum flexibility with the Valued Added Resellers' choice of off-the-shelf peripherals.
The M170 utilizes a high-quality, active matrix TFT display that delivers 400 nit brightness and a 450:1 contrast ratio. An auto detecting DVI-I video input connection receives both analog and digital video signals.
Other features include hardware-lockable on-screen display controls, concealed cable connections, base-enclosed power supply and full multimedia capacity.
