DSR-M810 600GB digital video recorder

Sanyo has released a digital video recorder with configurations of up to 600GB, designed specifically for the demanding requirements of the casino industry. The DSR-M810, which can be configured for 120GB, 240GB, 300GB or 600Gb, offers more data storage and a smaller chassis for easy installation in almost any surveillance room.

The base unit of the DSR-M810 incorporates a 120GB hard drive, capable of storing two weeks (or 336 hours) of nonstop recording. When configured to 600GB, the unit is capable of recording up to 70 days worth of 30FPS recording in standard mode.

The recorder uses MPEG2 Video Compression for four picture quality levels: Standard, High, Super and Super+. Video clips can be copied to a CD-R/W and the unit can be controlled via a RS-485 (Sanyo SSP) resistive ladder, or through the Ethernet.

Among the extensive additional features are: audio recording, alarm recording and built-in time/date generator and search functions.
