Hector Mon has joined the Las Vegas-based company as senior vice president of operations. In his new position, Mon will be responsible for the company's riverboat operations in Illinois, Indiana and Mississippi. Mon previously served as president and general manger of the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.***
CAESARS ENTERTAINMENT
Robert Conover has been named special assistant for strategic initiatives for the Las Vegas-based company. Conover, who previously served as CIO will be responsible for developing and implementing new strategies for increasing revenue through the use of technology and advanced information systems. He will also lead the company's slot development group.Carol Pride has been appointed chief information officer, replacing Conover. She will be responsible for developing new information systems and tech-
nology capabilities and initiatives; supervising all IT services and project management; enhancing the data warehouse, Internet, e-business and guest services systems; managing back-office systems and managing the company's telecommunications and data networks.

CB RICHARD ELLIS
Jessica Jen has been named gaming analyst in the CB Richard Ellis Global Gaming Group, based in Las Vegas. Her duties include analyzing financial aspects of marketing proposals, assisting with the drafting of underwriting documents and conducting market assessments. She previously served as a senior labor analyst for the Tropicana Hotel & Casino and worked as an operations analyst for Harrah's Entertainment.***
COLONY RESORTS Ken Ciancimino has been named executive vice president of administration for the Las Vegas Hilton, which Colony recently acquired from Caesars Entertainment. Ciancimino previously served as vice president and manager for M&M Advertising in Las Vegas. He is also a former vice president of Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts.
Rudy Prieto has been named CEO and general manager of the Las Vegas Hilton. Prior to joining the Hilton, he was senior vice president of operations for Las Vegas-based Boyd Gaming Corp. He also worked at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City as president and COO.
Bob Schaffhauser has been appointed vice president of finance for the Las Vegas Hilton. He will be responsible for monitoring the property's financials. He began his gaming industry career in 1989 and has served as vice president and CFO of several Atlantic City resorts.

ENTERTAINMENT
Chris Corrado has been named a vice president of Harrah's central division and will be the top marketing executive for the division. He previously served as Horseshoe Gaming's senior vice president of marketing, where he
oversaw database marketing, advertising, players club and investor relations initiatives.
Michael O'Hagen has been named vice president of Harrah's Operating Company, a subsidiary of Harrah's Entertainment. As vice president of human resources operations, he will oversee the company's human resources operations and strategy in the eastern and western divisions.

Mark Hutchinson has been named director of public gaming and international sales. After working in the lottery business in the UK and South Africa for 12 years, Hutchinson recently returned to the United States, where he worked for Reno-based International Game Technology in the company's public gaming area. He will now work out of JCM's Las Vegas headquarters.

Linda Gordon has joined the Dallas, Texas-based company's gaming division as promotions project manager. As SCA's first employee in Las Vegas, Gordon will develop and implement casino promotions primarily in Nevada. She joins SCA after a 20-year career with Las Vegas-based Boyd Gaming, most recently as director of casino events for the Stardust Hotel & Casino.
