an experience incomparable to anything else offered in the region,” said Jay
Dorris, president and chief executive officer of PCI Gaming, which also owns
and operates Riverside Casino in Wetumpka, and Tallapoosa Casino in Montgomery. “Now we are
able to look at Wind Creek as the culmination of that effort and vision. It
will be truly a one-of-a-kind resort for Alabama
that offers our region the best in gaming, lodging, dining and
entertainment.”
The casino-resort will
feature a 57,000-square-foot gaming floor with 1,600 electronic gaming machines
in a setting appointed with high ceilings, custom woodwork and stonework and
which offers a center bar and lounge with live entertainment.
Its 160,000-square-foot hotel will offer 236
luxury rooms. The casino-resort also offers four dining options, Fire, an upscale steak and seafood restaurant;
Taste, an international buffet; Grill, a 24/7 casual dining restaurant; and
Brew, a facility also offers meeting space.
