Silver Slipper Casino touts MEI CASHFLOW SC products
December 11, 2012

As
part of its rebuilding process post Hurricane Katrina, executives at Sliver
Slipper Casino in Bay St. Louis, Miss., decided to reopen its 1,004-unit slot
floor with only one type of bill acceptor—the CASHFLOW SC from West Chester,
Pa.-based MEI . Almost seven years later, the MEI products are still going
strong and the Silver Slipper plans on sticking with the products for some time
to come.
“It was one of the best
operations decisions we ever made,” said David Pisarich, slot director at the
Silver Slipper. “Since going 100 percent with MEI, downtime has become a thing
of the past. We haven’t experienced a single failure in any of our CASHFLOW SC
note acceptors—and that includes the units we had in operation before Katrina.
The cashboxes are virtually indestructible, and the acceptors run with jam-free
precision. I guess you can say MEI equipment can even withstand hurricanes.”
Introduced
in 2002, CASHFLOW SC redefined the role of note acceptors in operator
profitability and customer satisfaction with improvements made to acceptance,
jam rate, security and cost of operation, according to company literature. The
product’s uptime helps ensure that slots are consistently running, ready for
play and making money. “We have definitely seen improvements in revenues thanks
to the reliability of CASHFLOW SC,” Pisarich said.
“We are thrilled with the
Silver Slipper’s success with CASHFLOW SC,” said Eric Fisher, MEI senior vice
president—Americas. “Their experience is a testament to the value and longevity
of MEI note acceptors, and we look forward to maintaining our partnership well
into the future.”
