Station Casinos’ latest locals-oriented casino, the $662 million Aliante
Station in North Las Vegas, Nev., drew large crowds when it opened its doors to
the public Nov. 11, preceded by a fireworks show and a VIP opening featuring a
performance by Sheryl Crow. “Aliante Station was designed to be a warm,
welcoming, exciting entertainment destination for locals that blends the
natural beauty of the area with all the amenities and conveniences that have
become synonymous with the Station Casinos brand,” said Joe Hasson, Aliante
Station’s vice president and general manager.
Aliante Station, a
50-50 joint venture of Station Casinos and the Greenspun Corp., was designed as
a modern and inviting urban desert retreat, inspired by Scottsdale-modern
architecture. It offers 202 upscale hotel guest rooms and suites; six
restaurants and a food court; 14,000 square feet of meeting, banquet and
convention space; Regal Cinemas’ 16-screen movie theatre; Access Showroom, a
600-plus-seat entertainment concert venue and an array of popular gaming
choices including traditional table games, a poker room, state-of-the-art race
and sports book and slot machines.
