Turtle Treasure and Xtreme Mystery games
Las Vegas-based Aristocrat Technologies’ latest games, Turtle Treasure and Xtreme Mystery, are now available.
Turtle Treasure is an average volatility penny slot game with a bonus feature that hits with average frequency. Increasing player enjoyment is the bonus feature, which gives players the chance to win 10 free games.
The feature is triggered, appropriately, by any three scattered “treasure” symbols. During the free games, ring, coin and starfish all become turtles, helping players get on their way to winning even more free games, and increasing play time.
Turtle Treasure can be configured to a nine- or 25-line game with max bet options of 45, 90 or 180. The top score award is 500 credits, as is the top award with feature. The top single spin award is 4,500 credits.
Turtle Treasure currently runs on Aristocrat’s proven MKVI platform, and is emulated to run on the new Gen 7 platform and in the new Viridian cabinet.
Xtreme Mystery progressives can be added to any standard or premium Aristocrat base game, including all MKVI Standalone and Reel Power games and can be added to banks of machines ranging in number from as few as six to as many as 32.
The three-level jackpot can be won at anytime during any bought game. Additionally, Xtreme Mystery jackpots can be won with any credit bet and with any number of lines played. Operators can configure these jackpots to hit within a set dollar range which adds an exciting edge to the game.
Xtreme Mystery is available on several proven performing themes, including Gold Fever, Golden Pyramids, Inca Fortune and Prosperity, and several more themes will soon be available in future releases.

Predictive Modeling Platform
—Apollo Data Technologies
Apollo Data Technologies has unveiled its Apollo Predictive Modeling Platform. The platform automates many of the time-intensive tasks associated with delivering complex predictive models, including the data preparation and evaluation of hundreds or thousands of model configurations, delivering it in much less time compared to existing statistical packages.
Using the platform, businesses can gain a huge time-to-market advantage for putting customer intelligence into play. For example, IGT Mariposa, a division of International Game Technology, selected Apollo Predictive Modeling Platform to help deliver predictive analytics to its extensive gaming industry customer base.
The Apollo Predictive Modeling Platform is metadata-driven, significantly reducing common rework in the areas of data preparation, algorithm selection and model evaluation that is manually required by most data mining tools.
Moreover, it can run models and score records every day, all the time; it will automatically identify the “optimal” model(s) to put into production or use for scoring, and it can model tens of thousands of attributes and millions of records.
The Apollo Predictive Modeling Platform is based on proprietary processes and algorithms utilized in a wide-range of industries, including retail and consumer goods, automotive, media and entertainment, telecommunications, and most recently, healthcare.

Bosch Security Systems Inc., a full-line manufacturer of security solutions, announced the release of the Divar MR family of mid-range digital versatile recorders (DVRs).
Divar MR combines high-quality digital recording with flexible alarm handling, camera control and remote management into an integrated video management solution that is easy to install and simple to use. The powerful, yet affordable, range of new DVRs is an ideal solution for schools, retail premises, hotels, apartment buildings and many other applications.
The Divar MR delivers real-time recording and playback in CIF resolution and high resolution live viewing. With recording resolutions up to full 4CIF, Divar MR can also be used for applications where even greater detail is needed. Video can be archived to USB flash drives or an optional DVD writer, and with image authentication, it can be used as evidence in legal proceedings. An archive player allows exported video to be viewed on any PC without installing additional software.
Security personnel can use a Bosch IntuiKey keyboard, a mouse, an IR remote or the unit’s front panel push buttons and jog dial to operate the Divar MR, giving users the flexibility to choose the control method that best suits their needs. The system also includes Divar MR Control Center software for complete remote management, including live viewing and control, playback, configuration and alarm notification. Users can also view live images via Microsoft Internet Explorer.
The Divar MR is simple to set up and operate with a host of features that make it easy to use, such as one-touch recording, instant playback, e-mail-on-event, overwrite protection to keep important recordings safe and Smart Search, which automatically looks for changes within a selected portion of a scene.
The embedded design of the Divar MR offers a higher level of security against network attacks compared to traditional systems and lowers maintenance requirements by eliminating the need for software patches and anti-virus installations.
The Bosch Divar MR family is available in eight and 16 channel models with a variety of hard drive capacities and, if required, an internal DVD writer. Interface options for various external devices cover both Bosch and third-party pan-tilt-zoom cameras.
