star, Chris Moneymaker’s rise to the top of his profession became an
inspiration to a generation of would-be card-sharks when he captured the 2003
World Series of Poker Championship. Moneymaker’s new game, Acey Deucey, brings
the excitement of the classic card game to the casino world for the first time
in an ultra-fast-paced format.
After the player antes,
two cards are dealt face-up. The player bets on whether or not the third card
will numerically fall in between the first two. To add excitement, Moneymaker’s
Acey Deucey provides multiple betting options, incorporating elements of the
traditional game with exciting options derived from 3-Card Poker, giving the
player two distinct ways to win with each hand.
The Class III game
offers 9 and 20 lines and comes with three selectable math profile options of
high volatility, low volatility and high hit ratio and extended bill duration.
Moneymaker’s Acey Deucey is offered in English and Spanish with all
denominations of bets available. Max bets are 40, 90 or 180 with a jackpot of
4,500 times the line bet.
Flexi-Link Jackpot System and Powerlink — Austrian Gaming Industries
New Coolfire II single games and multigame mixes that will be presented for the first time at the G2E event include Rich Witch, Sissi–Empress of Austria and Luxury Express. Further enhancements of AGI’s game library includes other classics such as Just Jewels, Dolphin’s Pearl, Lucky Lady’s Charm and Book of Ra as new Coolfire II deluxe releases.
Most prominent among the new cabinets that will be on display is the Super-V+ Gaminator, featuring an extra-wide screen format, multi-denomination, multi-language options and professional sound quality. AGI’s enhanced Novo-Vision Slant Top I cabinet features a 22-inch bottom touch ¬screen and 27-inch top screen as well as a “flip-screen” feature and second start button at the foot rest. The Novo-Vision Slant Top II offers a 26-inch bottom touch-screen plus an optional second 26-inch top screen for either a live-streaming picture of the game or an animated display.
The Flexi-Link Jackpot System and Powerlink, manufactured by Independent Gaming and distributed by AGI, will also be showcased at G2E. Flexi-Link features multi-level mystery progressive jackpots that notify the maximum possible cash value of forthcoming jackpot wins. The Powerlink displays four jackpot levels directly at the machine between the top and bottom screens.
In Las Vegas, AGI will also present its latest Novo Unity multiplayer products with live installations of the Novo TouchBet Live Baccarat and, as a premiere in the U.S., Novo TouchBet Live Black Jack. A Novo Multi-Table Roulette will demonstrate the possibility to configure any combination of Novo Multi-Roulette, Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette and Novo Flying Roulette, allowing participating players to select a table from their very own personal player station.
The Novo-Bar bar-top terminal, which comple¬ments Novomatic’s existing range of multi-player cabinets, can be integrated into all existing Novo Unity installations and allows operators to further increase their capacities to up to 250 terminals per system. Both versions of the Novo-Bar provide for modern cash handling and player tracking standards, supporting technologies such as bill acceptor, TITO and SmartCard.
Free Game Bank — Aristocrat Technologies
Free Game Bank is an original feature incorporated into Aristocrat’s latest XCite game, Dream of the Red Chamber. When free games are awarded players can choose to play them immediately, play some and bank some, or save them all for later use. A free game onscreen meter and stored free game screen allows players to keep track of their bank tally. The feature is awarded on Dream of the Red Chamber when any three or more Pagoda symbols appear, with all prizes won during free games tripled.
The new range of games from Aristocrat includes two games being added to the XCite collection. 5 Koi joins Aristocrat’s Power Pay portfolio and the company’s 100-line lineup is bolstered with the release of Heart of Vegas. Another 100-line game, Butterfly Kiss is one of three product launches newly developed specifically for the Viridian/Gen7 platform, along with Show Me The Game and Polynesian Pearl. Two proven Aristocrat titles, Indian Dreaming and 50-line game 50 Lions, were also added to the Viridian library.
The company’s popular Zorro Link game has also been updated to offer greater variety. A new game, Zorro and Lady Rawhide, raises to four the number of playable alternatives on the XCite Hyperlink.
21 to The River — A&L Table Dreams
Poker starts if the player busts his blackjack hand. The card that busted the player at blackjack is used as the first card for the poker hand. Players are then dealt four more additional cards to make a five-card poker hand. The poker hand is then paid the appropriate bonus relative to a payout scale. It is important to note that the poker hand is only a factor if the player busts and loses his blackjack hand. If the player does not bust on blackjack the poker bet is a push.
Games are played with one standard deck of 52 cards with up to five players and are also available in a six-deck shoe with six players. 21 to The River is now being played at The Hard Rock Casino and Binion’s Casino in Las Vegas.

Rapid Eye Active Alert is a new digital video recorder (DVR) that includes
embedded video analytics designed to improve surveillance capabilities. Rapid
Eye Active Alert allows users to employ video analytics, which helps security
personnel be more efficient by analyzing and classifying behaviors captured on
camera, without the need for additional workstations or severs to support
analytics software.
The unit, which can
capture 480 images per second, utilizes a Linux-based operating system for high
performance and reliability with stable and secure operation. Users can install
analytics on up to eight channels and because the video analytics can look for
more than 35 different events, users can customize their system to handle
specialized detection needs.
Video analytics helps
prevent missed detections and false alarms. It automatically detects,
classifies and tracks incidents in real time and uses advanced algorithms to
identify and analyze objects and behaviors. Additionally, search tools
instantly search each camera view to locate video and enable users to define
individualized event and alarm settings.
Witches Riches and Night Sky — International Game Technology

The new games feature 40-payline game play, flexible bet options and 15 free games with a 3X multiplier. Witches Riches and Night Sky are available exclusively on the company’s AVP platform and run on the G19 TrimLine, G19 Slant, G20 Upright and G22 Slant model cabinets.

High-definition storage — Pivot3 Inc. and Connections IT
Pivot3
Inc., the inventor of high-definition storage based on distributed RAID, and
Connections IT of Tulsa, Okla., one of the most prominent gaming industry
systems integrators, has announced that the Muscogee (Creek) Nation has chosen
the Pivot3 High-Definition Storage system for a state-of-the-art IP video
surveillance project installed and planned by Connections
IT.
The Creek Nation will use
the Pivot3 clustered storage to support the bandwidth and capacity needs of
nearly 1,000 high-definition IP cameras installed in security-sensitive
locations, including table games, cashiers’ windows and
kiosks.
This installation,
supporting more than a petabyte of storage, represents one of the largest
virtual matrix systems (VMS) deployed in the world today.

The jack symbol is wild at all times and doubles line wins. The bonus trigger symbol also awards a scatter pay of up to 100 times the total bet, depending on the number of symbols that trigger the bonus. Higher wager players are rewarded with a bonus round pay multiplier that grows as players increase their wagers. The free games bonus round can be retriggered during the bonus. Magic Beans pays for two, three, four and five identical symbols in a row (left to right only).
A bonus meter is located at the top of the screen and has an initial multiplier value of 1X. As the player increases the bet, the meter grows. When a sufficient number of games have been played, the bonus meter becomes full and increases to the next bonus pays level. This process continues until the bonus has been triggered or if the maximum multiplier amount of 10X has been reached. When the free games bonus has been triggered, the multiplier amount is applied to all free games. Once the free games bonus ends, the multiplier amount is reset to 1X.
The free games bonus is triggered when three, four or five scatter symbols appear on screen, awarding 15 free games. A scatter pay of up to 100 times the total bet is also awarded, depending on the number of symbols that triggered the bonus. All wins in the free games bonus are multiplied by the bonus meter amount reached when the player entered the round. The bonus can be retriggered within the bonus round. The maximum number of free games that can be awarded in one bonus round is 150.
