To borrow and
slightly alter a line from Sherlock Holmes, change is afoot
at this year ICE Totally Gaming event in London.
To start, ICE 2013 has moved its dates and location. Traditionally held at Earls Court in January, ICE Totally Gaming 2013 will instead take place February 5-7 at ExCeL London exhibition and convention center, an expansive new facility that recently opened in the heart of the city’s Royal Docks. Thanks to this move, ICE Totally Gaming can now boast it’s the world’s largest business-to-business gaming show; its 29,000-square-meters of space surpassing the Global Gaming Expo show floor by 21 percent, according to information provided by Clarion Events, the exhibition’s organizers.
Bragging rights aside, the extra space has come in handy in other ways. “ICE Totally Gaming is structured differently and as a consequence can offer its stakeholders a much broader exposure to what’s new across the gaming spectrum,” said Kate Chambers, director-gaming for ICE.
Indeed, the marketing theme for ICE 2013 is “think big,” which Clarion is accomplishing by expanding the events conference and networking opportunities
“ICE is an event which provides a shop window on absolutely everything that’s taking place in gaming and, most importantly gaming from every geographical perspective,” Chambers said. “Add important C-Level activities, a flourishing conference program, key networking events and a prestigious awards ceremony which celebrates excellence, integrity and professionalism and you have a multi-faceted celebration of the international gaming industry which offers tangible benefits to everyone involved in the gaming business in all of its guises.”
For more information on ICE Totally Gaming 2013, visit the event’s website at www.icetotallygaming.com.
The trade show portion of ICE 2013 was well on the way to being sold out as of December 2012, and over 400 companies have committed to displaying their wares at the event. Here are short profiles of some of the companies that will be exhibiting at ICE Totally Gaming 2013, along with products they’ve either recently introduced or plan on showcasing at the event:
