October 16, 2009
Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, a premier gaming and resort destination in Michigan, has selected Scottsdale, Ariz.-based System Concepts Inc.’s FOOD-TRAK as its food and beverage management solution.
“After looking at a number of systems we chose FOOD-TRAK not only for the flexibility and superiority of the system, but more importantly for the consulting expertise of Bill Schwartz and his team,” said Andy Asselin, chief executive officer of Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. “Bill is considered one of the leading casino industry experts in the field of F&B control and his expertise will be invaluable as we automate our F&B operations.”
“We are thrilled to be working with the Saginaw Chippewa tribe and the Soaring Eagle organization,” said Bill Schwartz, chief executive officer of System Concepts, Inc. “Their entire team, including the tribal council and CEO, is focused on gaining maximum food and beverage control. I’m sure the success they have attained as one of the largest and most successful Indian Gaming operations in the country will also be reflected in their mastery of the process of bulletproofing their substantial F&B operation. Given their top-down dedication to the project, I believe the results they achieve will set new standards for casino F&B control.”
Operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is Michigan’s largest casino with 70 tables and 4400 slots, and includes a 514-room 4-diamond rated resort, 3,000 seat theater, conference center and spa. The tribe will use the FOOD-TRAK Food and Beverage management system to control its costs for Soaring Eagle, Saganing Eagle’s Landing and their distribution center.
