IGT SELLS FIRST SBX SYSTEM IN EUROPE
February 4, 2010
IGT’s exclusive French distributor LUDI S.F.M. has signed an
agreement to install the sbX Experience Management System at Casino d’Evian in France. This
marks IGT’s first European agreement for sbX.
“We are delighted to be the first casino in Europe to opt for sbX server-based gaming and all that it
has to offer. It will allow us to be at the forefront of gaming technology and
to continually ensure that we offer the right games to our guests in the right
place and at the right time. We are very pleased to be making the transition to
both server-based and coinless gaming together with LUDI and IGT,” said Eric
Perrin, managing director of Casino d’Evian.
Once installed, the system will provide open access to IGT’s
expansive server-based game library of more than 100 international themes and
its sophisticated “download and config” capabilities are an ideal proposition
for the French market. sbX Floor Manager works within the existing French
regulatory requirements for game conversions and is scheduled for a field trial
with the French gaming authorities.
“The powerful combination of sbX Floor Manager and sbX
Analytics offers casino managers in-depth insight into their game performance
and player preferences, as well as the ability to continually optimize their
slot floor,” said Ali Civile, sales director of IGT Europe.
