BARONA DOUBLING THE NUMBER OF PENNY SLOTS ON ITS CASINO FLOOR
March 5, 2010
After Barona Resort & Casino’s original introduction of ticket-in, ticket-out technology, multiline penny slots have become one of the hottest innovations to hit the casino floor in recent years.
Responding to recent customer requests for more of these exciting games, Barona is now bringing in more penny slots, doubling the amount on the casino floor.
“Penny slots are a fun way to give our customers more bang for their buck,” said Chuck Hickey, vice president of slot operations at the casino resort located near San Diego. “Our players asked for more penny slots, so we doubled the number to make it possible for our guests to have more play time for their gaming money.”
Barona’s new penny slots span from treasured themes such as Aztec Temple to relaxing destinations such as Hawaiian Sunset Multi-play and excitement in the popular Glitz. The majority of all the new penny slots are replacing nickel games.
Barona’s famous Loose Troop has made sure the new penny machines are the loosest around, which means “our guests can expect even longer slot playing time, more jackpots and more winners,” explained Hickey.
