OK to go

August
in Oklahoma is likely to be blazing hot… which is not necessarily bad when
you’re talking about either the weather or a trade show event.
In this case, we’re talking
about a trade show, one that grows year after year as the Oklahoma tribal
casino gaming market continues to expand. This year’s Oklahoma Indian Gaming
Association (OIGA) annual conference and trade show is scheduled to take place
August 13-15 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Okla., and promises to live up to its billing as the
“Biggest Little Show in Indian Gaming.”
The event, which is open to
tribal leaders, casino gaming operators and managers, casino marketers, gaming
employees, regulators and vendors, plans to draw in excess of 2,500 gaming
industry professionals interested in creating and growing relationships within
one of the strongest gaming markets in the United States—home to 33 gaming
tribes that operate 107 casinos that house around 62,000 Class II and Class III
slots.
The two-day conference
portion of 2012 OIGA will include tracks dedicated to slots, F&B, human
resources, marketing, customer service, liabilities and risk, security and
surveillance and leadership. Sessions within these tracks will cover a
wide-range of topics such as social media marketing, liquor liabilities, slot floor
redesign, Internet gaming, self governance, diversity and cloud computing. For
more information on this event, visit

The trade show segment of this annual event will likely be lively as
well, and includes gaming equipment manufacturers and service providers both
large and small. Here’s a rundown/update of some of the gaming vendors that
will be showcasing product at OIGA.
