The Softways craps wager from
Olympia Dice allows a player to make “Place
Bets” on “The Hardways.” The bet wins if the selected doubles – 2’s, 3’s, 4’s
or 5’s – are rolled before a seven is rolled. The number being rolled “easy” does
not lose. Designed to be handled by the dealers easily and not to slow down the
play of the table, the Softways’ payoff is 5 to 1 or the player can buy it for
5 percent commission and be paid the true odds (6 to 1).
