Solutions launched its first commercial cleaning product, the Activeion Pro,
marking the first time the award-winning technology that transforms tap water
into a powerful cleaner is available in a spray bottle.
Set
to revolutionize the cleaning industry, the Activeion Pro is efficient and cost-effective,
but just as important, it is also safe because it contains no added chemicals
of any kind. The only hand-held cleaner that does not carry a chemical-related
health warning label, Activeion Pro uses activated water technology rather than
harsh chemicals to clean, making it the safest option for cleaning
professionals, the customers they serve, as well as the environment.

Solutions launched its first commercial cleaning product, the Activeion Pro,
marking the first time the award-winning technology that transforms tap water
into a powerful cleaner is available in a spray bottle.
Activeion
Pro is efficient and cost-effective, but just as important, it is also safe
because it contains no added chemicals of any kind. The only hand-held cleaner
that does not carry a chemical-related health warning label, Activeion Pro uses
activated water technology rather than harsh chemicals to clean, making it the safest
option for cleaning professionals, the customers they serve, as well as the
environment.
Activeion
Pro is a versatile cleaner ideal for use on glass, stainless steel, wood, stone
and marble as well as carpet and clothing. In fact, it can replace many general
purpose chemical cleaners commonly used for these types of surfaces. Activeion
Pro is now available for purchase at www.Activeion.com or through local
distributors. The unit, which retails for $299, can help professional cleaning
companies save considerable money each year by eliminating the need to purchase
a variety of general-purpose, window, glass, and stainless steel cleaners.
Through reduced chemical purchases, most customers should easily pay for the
purchase price of the Activeion Pro in the first year of use, some as quickly
as three months.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Activeion Pro to the cleaning industry and we
look forward to transforming how people think about cleaning and saving them
money at the same time,” said Todd Schaeffer, vice president and general
manager for Activeion Cleaning Solutions. “This isn’t just another green
cleaning product; it’s the only hand-held cleaner in the world without a chemical-related,
health caution label. The Activeion Pro ensures that companies, their employees
and their customers have a safe, healthy option for cleaning – free of harmful chemicals.”
Using
nothing more than activated water makes Activeion Pro the safe, healthy option
for professional cleaners. According to a U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency-sponsored report, each year, six out of every 100 cleaning professionals
are injured by the chemicals they use. Burns to the eyes and skin are the most
common injuries, followed closely by breathing toxic fumes. The Activeion Pro
frees cleaning professionals from these serious health risks stemming from the
touching, breathing or accidental splashing of toxic cleaning chemicals.
The
process that activates tap water and turns it into a powerful cleaner is a
tested, award-winning technology. The three-step
process begins when the Activeion Pro’s trigger is pressed and the tap water
flows through a cell that applies a slight electrical charge to it. Next, the charged
water passes through an ion exchange membrane, where it is separated into an oxygenated
mixture of positively and negatively charged nano-bubbles. When applied, the transformed,
newly activated water helps lift the dirt from the surface like a magnet,
enabling it to be wiped away. The activated water is completely safe, returning
to its original, nonelectrically charged, tap water state after 30 to 45
seconds.
The
Activeion Pro ensures safer spaces and a greener, healthier environment. The
product has been certified for use in and around food processing facilities by
NSF International, the Public Health and Safety Company that is a
not-for-profit, non-governmental organization committed to standards
development, product certification and risk management for public health and
safety.
The
certification reflects the Activeion Pro as the safe choice for cleaning any
environment where the risks from chemical contamination must be managed,
including cleaning around people in restaurants, patients in hospitals and
children in schools. The cleaner also helps sustain greener environments by
eliminating the waste of resources needed to manufacture, package and ship
chemicals as well as by eliminating the disposal of harmful toxins into the
earth.
“I’m into cleaning for health … I’m always on the lookout for the newest and
the best in our industry that will help me do that,” says Rose Galera,
president, Clean Plus Systems II, a professional cleaning company that endorses
Activeion Pro, and 12-year president of the International Executive Housekeeper’s
Association. “I don’t think there is a safe chemical – even green chemicals -
but with Activeion Pro, there are no chemicals. It couldn’t be safer.”
In
every step of the product’s development, from its ease of use to the ergonomic
design, the spray bottle was created with the cleaning professional in mind. By
requiring only tap water, the Activeion Pro dramatically reduces the time spent
training cleaning professionals on the mixing, filling and disposing of
dangerous chemicals. The user simply fills the half-liter reservoir with tap
water, charges the battery (a three-hour charge lasts for several days) and it
is ready for use. Weighing only slightly more than a standard 32 oz. chemical
spray bottle, the continuous trigger emits a constant flow of activated water,
eliminating hand fatigue. It also features a convenient clip that can attach to
most cleaning carts for easy transportability.
