TransAct Technologies will display its ticket printer solutions at the upcoming Australasian Gaming Expo. The show takes place Aug. 16 – 18, at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Center in Darling Harbour NSW, Australia.
TransAct will be located on Stand No. 223, along with its distribution partner, The Bright Group, and team members will be on hand to demonstrate the company’s innovative solutions for casino and gaming applications. Featured products include the Epic 950 and Epic 880, leading casino and gaming printers. In addition, ServerPort, which provides casino operators a quick upgrade path to delivery of targeted promotions and coupons right to the game, also will be showcased.
The Epic 950 offers numerous advanced features including quick disconnect, a grounded metal inner and outer frame and USB connectivity. Furthermore, the Epic 950’s TicketBurst technology ensures the ticket is completely printed prior to being presented which eliminates potential player interference or disputes. The Epic 950 is equipped with a ticket-low sensor that can register when there are as few as one or two tickets left; allowing operators save on paper costs and maximize up-time.
The Epic 880 thermal roll receipt printer is the perfect printing solution for gaming applications such as video lottery terminals, sports betting machines, fixed odd betting terminals, amusement with prize machines and skills with prizes games. Its compact size and ease of integration, coupled with design features that include a built-in path that safely retracts the ticket in the event a patron forgets to take it, and an auto paper-loading feature which makes paper loading effortless. In summary, the flexible, feature rich Epic 880 is rapidly becoming the printer of choice for kiosk or gaming cabinets.
ServerPort is a cost effective solution which allows casino operators to upgrade their existing Epic 950 printers to realize the future of promotions and coupons at a gaming machine. Using TransAct’s patented dual port technology, the ability to print coupons and promotions in real-time directly to the player, and offer cross promotions within a casino property combine to increase player enjoyment and loyalty. In addition, ServerPort allows operators to configure the printer for special functions from a remote location, thereby eliminating the need for individual printer adjustments at each machine providing savings on maintenance costs.
