Austrian Gaming sells Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette to Spanish casino
August 26, 2009
The wholly owned Spanish subsidiary of Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH, Novomatic Gaming Spain S.A. announced that Gran Casino Aljarafe in Sevilla has ordered the first Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette in the autonomous Spanish region of Andalusia.
Gran Casino Aljarafe in Sevilla offers its guests a grand selection of live games and slots for first class casino entertainment. Based on the successful experience with AGI’s Coolfire I multigame machine Multi-Gaminator, the casino management decided to add a new electronic multiplayer offering.
The new comprehensive electronic multiplayer installation comprises two Novo TouchBet Live-Roulettes with 12 terminals each as well as two camera systems for the live-broadcast of the Roulette wheel on two giant plasma screens. The giant plasma screens show a Flying Roulette Animation that illustrates all players’ bets in different chip colors, highlights all winning fields on a virtual Roulette table and also displays a history of the winning numbers. The Roulette wheels feature electronic ball sensors and are operated by dealers who are instructed via the electronic Dealer Board, a small 10-inchdisplay that facilitates a secure and transparent live Roulette game management.
Implemented at the beginning of August, this installation is the first in the Spanish region following the official licensing of the product in Andalusia. “The installation at Gran Casino Aljarafe has a very attractive layout and will probably be a paradigm for other casinos in the region that clearly demonstrates the excellent performance of Novomatic multiplayers in the Spanish market,” said Jordi Pedragosa, sales manager, Novomatic Gaming Spain. “Through our experiences in the various Spanish regions, we have learned that the Novomatic roulette products range among the casinos’ guests’ favorites and deliver a fast return on investment.”
