FutureLogic introduces Eclipse printer
January 14, 2010
FutureLogic has introduced its new Eclipse universal ticket and receipt printer. Developed in response to continued industry demand for robust outdoor printing solutions, the fully integrated Eclipse printer excels in the most extreme operating conditions and in a broad range of applications.
The Eclipse heavy-duty thermal printer delivers throughput of 250mm per second even in the harshest environments (-20°C to +60°C and 10 percent to 85 percent RH, non-condensing), making it the most reliable roll printer in its class, the company says.
Offering flexible configuration, the Eclipse printer is equipped with USB 2.0 and RS-232 interfaces. It also offers multiple printer and paper roll mounting positions that can accommodate paper widths of 80 or 82.5mm and paper rolls of 100, 150, 200 and 250mm in diameter. This equates to more than 770m of paper, enabling the Eclipse printer to provide 5,000 6-inch receipts on a single roll.
To optimize security, the high-speed printer features a rugged presenter and advanced “eject and retract” technology that allows for storage of unclaimed receipts in an auxiliary tray. Combining superior performance with flexible configuration, the new Eclipse roll printer offers a reliable and easy-to-use solution — whatever the operating environment or application.
The Eclipse printer will be on display in stand 4250 at the International Gaming Expo. Other FutureLogic products to be shown include the PromoNet couponing solution; the TableXchange printer/scanner, and the CouponXpress desktop TITO coupon printer.
