Toshiba delivers new color bullet camera
July 2, 2010
Toshiba’s new IK-7100A day/night color bullet cameras are designed to offer outstanding performance by incorporating several innovative features that improve their ruggedness, imaging prowess and installation.
Boasting a weather-resistant IP66 rated metal housing, the IK-7100A is purpose-engineered for outdoor video security, although the camera is equally effective indoors. Hardened metal construction of the housing resists corrosion, bad weather and vandalism, while 16 long-range, high-intensity infrared LEDs enhance the performance of the camera in dark conditions where object detection and subject recognition is critical. The 850nm LEDs are invisible to the human eye yet illuminate a clear image at over 30 feet in total darkness.
Two analog versions are available: The IK-7100A-3.6 has a 3.6mm lens for a wider sight range, while the IK-7100A-8 has a 8.0mm lens for mid-range applications. Both offer a powerful combination of infrared LEDs and Day/Night functionality with high resolution 480 TVL to maximize performance in exceptional low light. In addition, Digital Signal Processing was incorporated into the cameras to reduce the degradation of images in lower light. By ensuring lower interference, DSP provides better video quality and greater storage capacity on DVRs.
Immediately available, Toshiba IK-7100A cameras ship fully assembled with included mounting brackets. Toshiba also offers several IP network model bullet cameras.
