New analytic system to be used in the casino’s 154-Room hotel tower expansion

Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi has installed the GuestREV profit optimization system from the Rainmaker
Group, a leader in automated forecasting and profit optimization solutions
for the gaming and hospitality industries. The installation is part of a
154-room hotel tower expansion project that opened earlier this year.

believe Rainmaker offers a fully integrated program for the casino industry,”

Casino Biloxi. “The full integration of GuestREV with our key guest-related
systems, as well as GuestREV’s Total Guest Value algorithms, were key factors
in our selection process.
“We’ll
also use GuestREV to critically assess overall profitability of the guests that
stay in the hotel, a more scientific way than simply looking at the difference
between a guest’s theoretical value and his or her average rate.”
Since
its debut in 2001, Rainmaker’s unique Total Guest Value approach to forecasting
and pricing hotel rooms has helped boost gaming and non-gaming revenues from 5
percent to 15 percent at numerous casino hotels. Driving incremental revenue and profit aligns
perfectly with Hard Rock Biloxi’s primary objective for implementing an
automated forecasting and optimization system.
