ATRONIC’s CRYSTAL.net installed at four Monaco casinos
March 24, 2009

ATRONIC
International announced that Monaco-based Société des Bains de Mer (MONTE CARLO
SBM) is equipping its four luxury casinos with CRYSTAL.net, the next generation of online platform and multimedia LCD
player tracking.
MONTE CARLO SBM is the first
operator to select CRYSTAL.net as a floor management solution following the
system’s launch at IGE in London
in January.
This year, ATRONIC will deploy 912
Electronic Gaming Devices (EGDs) linked to CRYSTAL.net in three of MONTE CARLO SBM’s four properties: the Café de Paris Casino, the Sun Casino and the
Monte Carlo Bay Casino. The first 200 EGDs are expected to be installed in
June.
MONTE CARLO SBM’s fourth property, The
Casino, will be equipped with about 300 EGDs in 2010 following renovations to the
facility.
CRYSTAL.net is the evolution of ATRONIC’s
proven platform, CRYSTAL WEB. Since MONTE CARLO SBM
currently uses CRYSTAL WEB, it will benefit from its compatibility with
CRYSTAL.net, allowing a seamless transition to the new platform.
“MONTE CARLO SBM chose CRYSTAL.net because of its enhanced
player communication, its enormous multimedia potential, and its flexibility
toward future technology like the G2S protocol and Server-Based Gaming,” said Mr. Eric
Schroeter Slot Director at MONTE CARLO SBM. “The fact that
we are able to operate CRYSTAL WEB and CRYSTAL.net simultaneously during the
transition is simply the icing on the cake.”
CRYSTAL.net is
the industry’s most robust and powerful platform to date. Developed with the
input from industry leading operators CRYSTAL.net maximises revenues, reduces
maintenance downtime and streamlines casino operations by combining power,
efficiency, flexibility, and entertainment. It features the most efficient processing
performance, longest average lifetime, and highest interface capacity of any
online system in the business. Built on proven, robust hardware, CRYSTAL.net
helps operators boost their marketing with remarkable multimedia capabilities.
“Players really enjoy the personalized
communication that CRYSTAL.net allows. It boosts Players’ Club membership and
enhances players’ overall gaming experience,” said Thierry Aiglon, COO of
ATRONIC International.
“It´s a great honour for ATRONIC that the
prestigious MONTE CARLO SBM Group has decided to move
to CRYSTAL.net. This decision is a clear indication that they put their players
first as it will mark a new era of marketing opportunities for their slots
department.”
ATRONIC has been providing systems solutions to MONTE CARLO SBM
since 1999, when it installed the GALAXIS system and CRYSTAL WEB platform. Since
then, MONTE CARLO SBM has trusted ATRONIC to provide a wide ranges of system solutions,
including Star|Slots, Star|Marketing,
IVS interface to ticketing, and Star|Jackpots – Mystery and Wide Area Progressive
(WAP) modules.
