Bear River Casino Hotel selects Agilysys management software
December 7, 2011
Bear River Casino Hotel in Loleta, Calif., has selected the Lodging Management System property management solution from Agilysys, a provider of information technology and hospitality software solutions, to streamline operations and enhance guest service at its new 105‐room hotel, scheduled to open in March 2012. The hotel has also selected the Agilysys DataMagine signature capture solution to expedite and streamline the guest check‐in process.
The property, which has used Agilysys systems for point‐of‐sale and inventory and procurement for several years, is expanding its investment in the Agilysys Casino1 suite, a comprehensive and integrated set of solutions for managing casino resorts.
“We wanted a property management solution that not only could meet our current needs but also has the ability to grow with us, and the Agilysys Lodging Management System was the right fit,” said Jesse Orr, information technology director at Bear River Casino Hotel. “The LMS solution will help us maximize revenue, and the system’s Internet reservations module will make it easy for guests to book rooms online.”
The Agilysys Lodging Management System property management solution automates every aspect of hotel operations—from reservations and credit card processing to accounting and housekeeping. LMS interfaces guest player accounts to the hotel booking engine for evaluating comp decisions. Its versatile foundation easily expands to incorporate modules for activities scheduling, food and beverage sales, spa treatment scheduling and more. The current version of the solution features LMS+, which includes a modernized graphical user interface, the LMSARTS guest activities planner and Guest Hub, a central repository for guest profiles. Bear River Casino Hotel will use the LMS ResNet module to enable online shoppers to book reservations directly into the LMS property management system and the DataMagine signature capture solution to digitally capture guest signatures upon check‐in and store the information for future reference.
