Aristocrat and Grand Vision Gaming ink Montana deal
May 17, 2012
Grand Vision Gaming (GVG), a manufacturer of video gaming devices headquartered in Billings, Mont., and Aristocrat Technologies, a leading global provider of gaming solutions, have entered into an agreement that makes GVG the exclusive distributor of Aristocrat’s gaming machines in the state of Montana.
Through the affiliates of its partners, including Century Gaming and Amusement Services, GVG is a powerhouse in the Montana market with more than 32 percent ownership of the state’s 16,000-plus licensed machines. According to Tim Carson, one of GVG’s four partners and a 33-year industry veteran, GVG’s established sales force and strong relationships fostered through decades of doing business in the state allow Aristocrat to enter the marketplace in a big way. “Montana has a unique culture,” Carson said in a prepared statement. “It’s a place where relationships matter and trust is built over time. This arrangement gives Aristocrat access to already established relationships that would otherwise take years to cultivate.”
Simultaneously, the potential market share that Aristocrats’ product could eventually gain in Montana will significantly boost GVG’s bottom line, Carson added. “Our product lines don’t compete, and this instantly expands our already comprehensive offerings overnight,” Carson said. “We are most excited about the ability to bring to Montana some of the country’s most popular line games, including Aristocrat’s nationally recognized Buffalo game, recently named the best game in an independent survey of slot managers from across the country conducted by Goldman Sachs.
According to Carson, GVG is known for its UltraVision multi-game platform that supports as many as 28 Keno, Poker and Line Game titles on a single machine. Aristocrat is a global company whose products and services are sold in more than 90 countries and whose inventory of products, including line games, is among the most powerful in the world. “Together, we are an undeniable force in the Montana gaming market. GVG is thrilled and excited about this innovative relationship.”
“We are delighted to have established this new relationship with Grand Vision Gaming,” added Aristocrat Americas COO Seamus McGill. Bringing together world-class product with a top-level sales team is an ideal business situation, which is exactly what we have accomplished with this agreement. We are very excited to move forward with Grand Vision Gaming across the State of Montana.”
