American
Casino & Entertainment Properties announced three executive appointments at
its Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower on the Las Vegas Strip. David Grolman was named vice president of hotel operations and
will oversee all facets of operations including front desk, housekeeping, VIP
services, bell desk, valet and Tower operations. Prior to the Stratosphere,
Grolman was director of hotel operations for the Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel and
Casino. Rory
Hascall is the new vice
president of table games and ancillary gaming at the Stratosphere and will be
responsible for all table games and the poker room. Hascall, who most recently
was vice president of gaming operations for the Luxor
in Las Vegas, is also in charge of the race and
sports books at all four ACEP Nevada locations – the Stratosphere, its two Las
Vegas Arizona Charlie’s properties and the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nev.
ACEP also promoted Bill Boswell to vice president of slot operations. Boswell has
more than 20 years of slot gaming experience and most recently served as
director of slot operations for the Stratosphere.
