Avendra, a Maryland-based hospitality procurement services
company, announced the appointment of Jerry Kraisinger as its general counsel.
“Jerry’s broad experience will be of
enormous value to Avendra” said Dennis Baker, president and CEO of
Avendra. “His experience in all facets of the hospitality industry,
coupled with his expansive legal expertise, will be very important in helping
us architect our business in order to achieve our long-term growth objectives.”
Before joining Avendra, Kraisinger was
the vice president of Development and the General Counsel of CapStar Hotel
Company, LLC. Previously, he had been the executive vice president and general
counsel of MeriStar Hospitality Corporation. Kraisinger began his career
in the hospitality industry over 22 years ago as a lawyer in Marriott
Corporation’s law department.
Kraisinger received his B.A. in
Political Science from Duquesne University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia.
He is admitted to practice law in Maryland, Florida, and the District
of Columbia.
