Cannery Casino Resorts has appointed Xavier Walsh chief operating officer, overseeing all four CCR gaming properties. Walsh, 44, comes to CCR from Australia-based entertainment group Crown Ltd. An accountant by profession, he began his gaming career with Australia’s Tabcorp Holdings and served with the company in several leadership capacities: as CFO of Star City Casino in Sydney, as managing director of the company’s Queensland casinos and as corporate executive director of strategy and commercial development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Monash University in Melbourne.
