Christine J. Spadafor, chief executive officer of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Boulder City, Nev., has been elected to the board of directors of Boyd Gaming Corp. Spadafor began her professional life as a registered nurse before pursuing a career in law. She holds a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School and has served as a corporate attorney specializing in family law. She has held senior roles with global management consulting firms, specializing in strategy development and implementation, operational improvement and corporate turnarounds. She also holds a master’s degree in science from the Harvard School of Public Health.
