Donna Barcelona has been appointed to the position of continuous improvement site leader at the company’s New Orleans casino. Previously director of marketing for Grand Casino Biloxi, in her new capacity she will be part of a companywide team dedicated to improving operational excellence and the customer experience. A native of New Orleans, Barcelona joined Harrah’s in 2002 and was promoted in 2005 to director of marketing for Grand Casino Gulfport. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina she served as director of marketing for both Horseshoe Bossier City and Harrah’s Louisiana Downs. In 2006 she was promoted to director of special events, entertainment and Total Rewards for Harrah’s New Orleans and Grand Biloxi.
