The International Association of Gaming Advisors has elected Paul S. West president for 2010, succeeding former Nev. Gov. Bob Miller. A member of the Baton Rouge, La.-based law firm of McGlinchey Stafford, West is well-positioned to lead IAGA, given his extensive background over the last 15 years in gaming law and regulation. He serves as head of McGlinchey Stafford’s gaming section and represents casino owners, operators, suppliers and financiers in all aspects of gaming law, including regulatory, transactional and litigation matters. Founded in 1980, IAGA is a non-profit professional corporation dedicated to the study and development of gaming law.
