Casino Arizona, owned by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, has named Ramon Martinez director of public relations for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, both in Scottsdale, Ariz. Martinez will serve as spokesman and liaison at all official functions sponsored by the enterprises while also increasing the name recognition of both properties through work with the media. A member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Martinez previously worked as community relations assistant director and later as a member of the Tribal Council. At Casino Arizona he served as public relations manager and most recently as marketing manager.
