International Game Technology has named Robert C. Melendres chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Melendres previously served as IGT’s chief of staff. Melendres joined IGT in June 2009. He was executive vice president and chief legal officer for Spansion and has held executive positions at Webgain, Advanced Micro Devices and IBM.
