Hard
Rock has named Michael Shindler
executive vice president, Hotels and Casinos, for Hard Rock International,
responsible for overseeing global development and strategic and day-to-day
management of all assets within the brand’s licensed and franchised portfolio.
Shindler brings to Hard Rock more than two decades of senior experience in the
hospitality industry, including positions as chairman of Hyatt Gaming
Management; vice president, Development and Asset Management, for Las Vegas
Sands; and vice president of Development/Americas for Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Group. Prior to joining Hard Rock he was president and CEO of Four Corners
Advisors, a Chicago-based hotel consulting and advisory firm. He began his
career as an associate and later partner in the Chicago law firm now known as
Katten Muchin Rosenman. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina
and holds a J.D. degree from Washington University in St.
Louis.
