Danielle K. Bateman has joined Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino as
vice president of marketing, overseeing direct-marketing strategy, brand
management, promotions, the Rivers Edge Players Club loyalty program,
entertainment and special events, Internet and mobile marketing and marketing
reinvestment. Prior to joining Rivers Casino, Bateman served as a member of the
opening team at Philadelphia Park Casino, now Parx Casino, in Bensalem, Pa.,
where she served as director of player services and director of strategic
marketing and initiatives. She started her career in gaming as a president’s
associate at Harrah’s Entertainment in Atlantic City. Before entering the
gaming industry she worked for Merrill Lynch’s Private Wealth Management Group.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Washington
University in St. Louis and a master’s degree in business administration from
The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
