Cindy Stephens Torian has joined Paragon Casino Resort
in Marksville, La., as director of convention services. Torian brings 25 years
of hotel experience to the position. Prior to joining Paragon she served as
vice president of Hadnot Hotel Properties and was a national sales manager for
Walt Disney World Resorts. She began her career as a member of a three-year
management training and development program with Hilton Hotels in California.
She is an active member of several non-profit organizations and has served as
chairwoman of the Alexandria/Pineville [Va.] Convention and Visitors Bureau and
as president of the Alexandria Hotel/Motel Association.
