Konami has appointed Michael Coppert director, customer service and technical support. Coppert will be responsible for providing leadership in customer support operations and key client management for the systems division. He has extensive experience leading cross functional teams in the casino industry. In addition to leading customer service organizations, his experience encompasses casino software development and deployment, new product development, systems analysis, business metrics and project management. Most recently, Coppert served as executive director of engineering for International Game Technology (IGT).
Prior to his employment at IGT, Coppert held senior level management positions with Mpower Communications and Casino Data Systems. In addition to his management roles, he held engineering positions with IBM. Coppert has also served on the UNLV Executive Advisory and the UNLV Computer Science Executive Advisory Boards.
