Players club program first outside of Las Vegas to fully integrate with Boyd’s One Card

Boyd Gaming’s Blue Chip Hotel & Casino in Michigan City, Ind. has successfully launched its new “B Connected” players club program. The carded program consolidates the property’s players club with other Boyd Gaming properties throughout the United States.

The B Connected program allows players to earn and redeem points at any Boyd Gaming property with a single card, offering incentives for both slot and table game players. There are three tiers (Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald) of rewards for carded members, each offering an increasingly attractive series of services and benefits.

“The launch of B Connected makes our players club better than ever,” said Ted Bogich, vice president and general manager of Blue Chip. “In addition to great rewards and special recognition, we now offer our cardholders the opportunity to earn stays at Boyd Gaming’s exciting resorts in Las Vegas and throughout the country.”

The B Connected card is linked to the “Club Coast” players card in Las Vegas, allowing cardholders to redeem and earn points at four Boyd Gaming properties in Las Vegas (The Orleans, Suncoast, Sam’s Town and Gold Coast). Boyd Gaming’s three downtown Las Vegas properties will be added in the near future. Blue Chip is the first Boyd Gaming property to introduce B Connected; over the next several months, the card will be rolled out at Boyd Gaming properties in Illinois, Louisiana and Mississippi, giving One Card members the ability to be rewarded for their play throughout the country.

The nationwide rollout is expected to be complete by the second quarter of 2008.
