Scott Molina appointed president of Resorts World Casino New York City
Genting Americas, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Scott Molina as president of Resorts World Casino New York City (RWCNYC), effective immediately. In his new role, Mr. Molina will oversee all operations at the property including gaming, entertainment and dining.
Mr. Molina joined RWCNYC in 2011 serving as part of its opening team and has served in various key leadership roles including director of slot operations, vice president of slot operations and most recently, chief operating officer. Throughout his tenure at RWCYNC, Mr. Molina has led a number of successful initiatives including launching the responsible gaming program, overseeing the expansion of the gaming floor and introducing electronic blackjack to patrons.

Since 2011, RWCNYC, which pays a 70% tax rate, has created more than 1,500 good-paying jobs and fostered economic development in the local community, helping to create thousands of additional indirect jobs. Most importantly, RWCNYC has generated over $1.7 billion for the state’s education fund, revenue that goes directly toward providing millions of students in New York with a higher quality public education.

Mr. Molina brings more than 30 years of experience in the gaming industry to this new role. Prior to joining RWCNYC, Mr. Molina served as executive director of slot operations at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. He has also successfully led the opening of a number of casinos across the country.
