Pechanga names two new department managers
Pechanga Resort & Casino, recently named Eric Pendon as its new executive housekeeper and Vito LoVerde as its new environmental services (EVS) director.
Pendon is a seasoned executive housekeeper and has accepted his new position right before the property more than doubles the size of its resort. In his new role, he will oversee the entire hotel housekeeping department of 140 team members, with more being hired as the expansion nears completion, as well as ensure each room exceeds the expectations of Pechanga’s AAA Four Diamond standard.
Pendon has more than 24 years of experience serving guests in the hospitality industry and has excelled in the housekeeping field,. His experience and professionalism has brought him to locations all over the world, working for several premier and upscale properties in Japan, Hawaii, and Guam, as well as in several U.S. locations such as Washington, New York, Texas, Illinois, and now California.
As director, LoVerde will oversee the entire EVS department of 200 team members, as well as oversee the cleanliness, service and maintenance of the entire property. He will also be responsible for ensuring his team follows the Pechanga and departmental policies, procedures and practices.
LoVerde has 20 years of experience serving guests and team members in the environmental services industry for several esteemed properties in Chicago, Las Vegas and now in Calif. Given his training in both the luxury and casino/resort categories, LoVerde brings strong leadership and knowledge to Pechanga.
