Four-year contract extension will bring in new self-service products and software enhancements
GTECH has signed a four-year contract extension with Washington’s Lottery, meaning the Rhode Island-based systems and services giant will continue providing the state with online technology and ongoing services along with new self-service products and software enhancements.
The extension commences in July 2012 and is expected to make about $50 million for GTECH.
GTECH currently provides Washington’s Lottery with its Enterprise Series system along with more than 4,000 Altura terminals, approximately 4,000 Ticket-Scan machines and 1,450 self-service lottery vending machines.
Under the terms of the new contract GTECH will provide the state with Lottery To Go vending machines in addition to central system software enhancements and will operate and maintain the online and instant central system, terminals and communications network. The company also will provide field service and marketing and hot-line management support.
