Company won most "recognized and important laboratory" while Karen Sierra-Hughes was honored as "VIP Woman of Gaming in Latin America"

SAGSE honored Gaming Laboratories International with two awards during its recent tradeshow. First, SAGSE distinguished GLI as “the most recognized and important laboratory, and its achievements and dedication to the Latin American region.”  

Next, GLI Manager Latin America/Spain Development Karen Sierra-Hughes was honored as a “VIP Woman of Gaming in Latin America.” The awards were given during SAGSE’s Gala del Juego.  

GLI President James R. Maida said, “We are thrilled and humbled to be recognized for our efforts in Latin America, particularly as we celebrate 10 years of service in the region. And we are especially pleased that Karen was noted for her dedication and hard work on behalf of Latin American regulators.”  

Since being accredited as the first independent certification laboratory in Peru more than 10 years ago, GLI has concentrated its efforts to serving clients in the region. GLI currently works with regulators and government agencies in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Panama and Peru. GLI also services numerous countries in the Caribbean.
