Supports World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour with 60-minute blackout

Harrah’s New Orleans showed its support for the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour by turning out the lights on Saturday, March 28, at 8:30 p.m. Harrah’s locations across the country turned off marquees and non-essential lighting to demonstrate their commitment to addressing climate change.

Harrah’s participation in Earth Hour is the latest in a series of more than 100 conservation initiatives they have undertaken over the past five years.

Earth Hour is designed to engage people in the climate change discussion. 84 countries marked the second worldwide Earth Hour.
