IGT will showcase its gaming innovations at
the 2009 National Indian Gaming Association trade show April 13-16 at the Phoenix Convention Center. New technologies fuel IGT’s ground-breaking game
concepts, state-of-the-art machines and industry-changing systems.
“Our customers asked us for new games, new machines, new
products and new thinking,” IGT Senior Vice President of Sales Ron Rivera said.
“We’ve exceeded those expectations, and our booth at NIGA is filled with the
most interesting, untraditional and never-before-seen concepts in the industry
today – innovations that are truly driving change in the gaming world.”
Many of the games and technologies
showing at NIGA 2009 debuted at the 2008 Global Gaming Expo in November. Since
then, several have proven to be casino favorites, helping drive ROI.
IGT’s REELdepth slots have impressed
operators and players nationwide. REELdepth slots use Multi-Layer Display
technology, an ingenious layering of two or more Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs)
that creates the visual effect of true depth without the use of 3-D glasses.
The MLD technology allows the player to view and play dozens of their favorite
games by switching from a 3-reel to 4-reel to 5-reel to video reel to poker within
seconds – all on the same AVP machine. Featured REELdepth Multi Game themes include
Pirates Bay Slots, Magic Butterfly Slots, Glitter & Gold Slots, Slingo,
Pink Diamonds Slots, Big Times Payroll Slots, Lucky Lines Slots and Three Kings
Slots. The MegaJackpots product line will also showcase REELdepth games
including the new Indiana Jones: Sankara Stones REELdepth theme, The Joker’s
Wild Multi-Level Progressives theme featuring MLD technology, and the new Wheel
of Fortune Advanced Slot, which also uses the 3-D technology.
Already a success in the market, IGT’s
new MultiPlay Video Slot lets players play one theme up to four times,
simultaneously, on the same machine. The MultiPlay Video Slot family showing
will include well-known games Cleopatra, Wolf Run and Lil’ Lady, and new themes
Hawaiian Sunset and Golden Eagle.
Other
new MegaJackpot themes will be featured including Jeopardy! Multi-Level
Progressives; I Dream of Jeannie Magic Carpet Ride; Sydney Omarr In the Stars,
a new conversion released since G2E for the Sydney Omarr’s Zodiac Wheel theme;
Elvis Multi-Level Progressives; Star Wars Multi-Level Progressives Mystery of
Dagobah, a new conversion released since G2E for the Star Wars Multi-Level
Progressives system; Wheel of Fortune Triple Point Re-Spin; and Multi-Strike
Triple Double Red Hot 7s. New Barcrest USA themes will include Greed is
Good, Wheel Hottie and Dazzling Dollars.
IGT’s
Standard product line will showcase its new MultiWay Xtra themes End of the
Rainbow, Fire Horse, Unicorn Magic, Pamplona, Twin Warriors and Matterhorn.
Featured Bettor Chance themes include Red Mansions, Crown of Egypt, Southern
Belle, Wildwood, Lucky Llamas, Fish in a Barrel and High on the Hog. New bank
families Fire Bells, Ultimate 7s and Greenback Attack Slots add to the hefty
lineup of IGT’s Standard products.
Also
in the spotlight will be the new suite of IGT machine models featuring the
award-winning Service Window and sb NexGen, all fueled by the power of the AVP
platform. The new models converge with a new library of game themes and sbX,
the Experience Management solution from IGT. sbX allows a casino to design and
manage customized player experiences for a distinct competitive advantage. The
sbX Tier One package includes the first G2S server-based game management
solution in an all-inclusive package. It will allow operators to experience sbX
Floor Manager in a bank-by-bank solution. IGT will also spotlight new and
different sbX Tournament solutions, bank bonus applications and an innovative
Beverage on Demand function, all further enhancing the gaming experience.
IGT
Network Systems will also show IGT Advantage, still unmatched in the market,
with critical casino management enhancements; the multi-functional EZ Pay Smart
Card that modernizes the single-purpose player’s card; and the IGT Mariposa™
business intelligence suite that allows operators to transform data into
actionable information. The Systems Services and Professional Services groups
will demonstrate how they leverage IGT’s technology and operator investments,
and are the most experienced support teams in the industry today.
IGT’s
table solutions area will feature the M-P Series automated version of Roulette
Evolution; the Triple Towers horse race game; and the new Golden Baccarat
Electronic Table Game. New DigiDeal electronic table games will be shown, as
well, including High Tie Bonus Blackjack and 1-6-8 Pai Gow Poker. Also in the
spotlight is Table iD, which combines table management software, RFID chip
tracking and game analysis in one solution, along with the original Lucky Draw
bonus.
The Class II
product line will introduce new themes to add to its expanding library of
games.
