IGT, MGM partner on iPhone slot
International Game Technology and MGM Resorts International have partnered on the launch of IGT’s Cleopatra iPhone slot game as part of MGM’s new M life Players Club iPhone application.
The agreement allows the Cleopatra game to be available for the first time on a casino operator's mobile phone application. The game is offered on a non-wager basis to all MGM Resorts M life Players Club members.
“It's simply a great game to play and we feel this app will increase brand loyalty to a game widely available throughout MGM Resorts' properties,” said Alex Kelly, vice president of Interactive, IGT.
Sherri Gilligan, senior vice president of Marketing & Advertising for MGM Resorts, said, “We are always looking for cutting edge experiences for our players. … There is no question this will become a fun way for players to take a little bit of Las Vegas home.”
M life is designed to leverage the combined power of MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas, Mississippi and Detroit by providing members with one-of-a-kind experiences, insider privileges, personalized rewards and an aspirational tiered approach with escalating earning potential. Later this year, it will expand into a full loyalty program recognizing guest spend on hotel stays, shopping, dining and more.
