Revenues at Foxwoods Resort and Mohegan Sun stabilized last month after weathering double-digit declines in January.
Foxwoods Resort Casino reported revenue of $51.1 million, about 0.9 percent less than February 2010. Mohegan Sun revenues rose about $22,000 to $58 million, an increase of less than one-tenth of 1 percent. The two properties posted declines of 6 percent and 12 percent respectively in the snowstorm-plagued month of January.
“February’s results were uplifting for the Foxwoods team,” President and CEO Scott Butera said, in a statement. “Many core customers continued to frequent our world class facilities despite a continuation of poor weather conditions in the Northeast as well as record high gas and commodity prices.”
