September 28 event drew more than 60 officials from more than 20 jurisdictions
Gaming Laboratories International welcomed a record number of regulators to its latest Latin American Regulators Roundtable.
The September 28 event in Buenos Aires drew more than 60 officials from more than 20 jurisdictions for presentations on a wide range of topics.
Among the speakers were Chile’s top regulator, Francisco Leiva Vega, GLI Senior Director of Development Bill Treger and Germán L. Vodopivec, GLI South America technical coordinator.
In-depth discussions were held on new technologies affecting electronic and traditional lotteries, information systems security, Internet gaming and combating money laundering.
Also discussing their experiences, successes and challenges was a panel of regulators that included representatives from Mexico, Peru and Argentina.
The roundtable was part of the company’s GLI University, a program that offers continuing education and training to regulators around the world. GLI offers the forums to regulators free of charge.
