The Delaware State Lottery has selected a consortium comprised of Scientific Games, Williams Interactive and 888 Holdings to operate the state’s Internet gaming systems and services, subject to the completion of final contract negotiations.

Scientific Games, along with 888 Holdings, a leading online gaming entertainment and solutions provider, and Williams Interactive LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc., offered a full turnkey solution for the gaming platform and content to the Delaware State Lottery, including poker, casino games, and video lottery games.

This offering combines 888's experience in online gaming industry with Scientific Games' ability to provide added value, turnkey solutions to government‐sponsored (B2G) and commercial (B2B) gaming operators, and Williams Interactive's premium iGaming products and services.

The Lottery evaluation committee's recommendation followed a competitive selection process designed to identify service providers best suited to serve the needs of the Delaware Lottery. The contract will be for an initial term of five years.

Delaware became the first U.S. state to implement comprehensive intrastate iGaming including poker, slots and bingo when the General Assembly passed the Delaware Gaming Competitiveness Act of 2012 in June 2012. The Delaware Lottery will be the sole regulator of real‐money internet gaming for the State with the games branded and marketed through the State's three casinos. The State plans to launch internet games this year.
