Cummins
Allison, a provider of currency, check and coin handling solutions, unveiled
its new JetScan iFX ticket-reading and check-processing solutions at the Global
Gaming Expo (G2E).
The
configurable and compact JetScan iFX i400 multi-pocket sorter is now available
with casino ticket bar code recognition. Casinos can realize substantial time
savings by using this single, innovative device that can now process and sort
mixed tickets and cash on a desktop multi-pocket sorter at a rate of 1,000
documents per minute, according to company literature.
Debuting
at G2E as part of the JetScan iFX i400 line is the JetScan iFX i406 model that
processes Canadian dollar, Euro and U.S. dollar, allowing U.S. and
international casinos to process multiple currencies on the same sorting
machine. All i400 models can be configured to have three, five, seven or nine
pockets and can be built in a horizontal or vertical configuration.
Also new to the JetScan iFX portfolio and on display at G2E is the
JetScan iFX i200 two-pocket unit with check processing functionality. Casinos
now have the choice of adding either a one or two-pocket unit, both of which
process tickets, checks and currency on a single device. Tickets and cash are
processed at 1,200 documents per minute and deposit items at 400 items per
minute, providing casinos with the flexibility to purchase a single device that
can process all three items quickly and efficiently. A common platform
simplifies employee training and provides built-in redundancy within the
property.
