IGT offering Texas Hold'em Xtreme on its DTS-X Table
October 28, 2009
Many poker players enjoy the social interaction of a live game. Operators appreciate the low overhead of video poker – no cards, chips or dealers to supply. The new DTS-X table with Texas Hold’em Xtreme game combines the best of both styles for an exciting new way to play.
Bets are placed on one of eight 15-inch touch-screen LCDs and displays are conveniently slanted for discreet viewing. Players follow game play on their own displays or the 40-inch center display. All of the displays feature graphics-rich animation.
Each player station at the 6-foot by 8-foot table comes equipped with its own bill acceptor, ticket printer and beverage holder. The laminate top makes for easy cleaning while the soft rubber bumper adds to the players’ comfort. Because the DTS-X table supports full Slot Accounting System (SAS) connectivity, a player tracking card reader may also be installed at each player station.
Texas Hold’em Xtreme is a fresh version of the classic poker game. It can be configured for tournament or regular game play. The DTS-X table can operate as a stand-alone table, added to an existing pit or used to create an entire poker pit.
The DTS-X table and the Texas Hold’em Xtreme game are now paired up to offer both players and operators the ultimate poker experience.
